Be prepared to strategise and re-strategise.
Be prepared to bounce back after making mistakes.
Be prepared to give a little in order to get a little.
Teenagers are not adults yet, but they're no longer children as such.
These small tips may go a long way to empowering them a little and making them feel like they matter."
Respect the sanctity of their bedroom.
Model respectful communication.
Avoid conversations that sound like interrogation.
Monitor your reactions to their disclosures.
Ask rather than demand.
Be fair, act justly, invite input.
